Vegan-vegetarian café in the heart of South Downs. The Beech Cafe uses ingredients from local suppliers (you can even find a list on their website) and herbs from the café's own herb garden. From spring to autumn, the café buys produce from the Fitzroy Group’s cultivation programme for people with learning disabilities. In addition to sandwiches, panini and wraps, there are daily specials. The bread at the café is hand-baked daily, using locally produced organic flour. Vegan options are available. Try one of the Beech Cafe’s renowned vegan cakes or flapjacks. As sweet treats pair lovely with hot beverages, the café serves a range of special teas and high-quality coffee. Home-made ice cream is available during the spring and summer months. The café also offers event catering on and off site.
